We stayed at the Quetzal during the hurricane and the staff was fantastic. We were fed three meals a day and the guests were the No.1 priority of the staff. Many of the trees were damaged
and the Spa was heavily damaged. By the time we finally left the lobby of the Tucan was repaired and the Quetzal had been started. I am recommending this hotel to everyone I know and am planning to return.

Just got back from Quetzal yesterday. Very nice resort--the wild animals roaming the grounds were a plus. The staff was extremely friendly. That being said, the food was awful and the beds were the hardest I have ever slept on. Checked with other guests and they had similar experiences. Banana daquiris were great.
